Crave – equal parts naughty, class and sass.

Though it’s purely a fictional place, it’s one of my favorite places to be. I mean, why not? Great lingerie, even better books, toys and interesting characters. The place has nearly everything a woman needs to be happy.

Paige from A Craving for Two is delightfully happy with Nate and Sloan and Lacey is nearly finished planning her wedding with Ryan and Parker.

So what’s next?

I’m digging into Peyton’s story and begging her to cooperate. I need her to talk to me or else this will be a very long, painful process and none of wants that, especially me. The only other option would be to write a different story but I really want to hang out with Peyton, Nick and Tristan. Keep your fingers crossed that they cooperate with me, lol!

I’m finishing up a special project that is very dear to my heart and the pressure has almost done me in. It’s quite a bit different from my Crave and Unearth series and while I love both those worlds with all my heart, there’s nothing wrong at all with changing things up a bit.

After all, isn’t that one of the reasons Crave is just a great place to be?

It’s my favorite time of year and each year when it rolls around, I blink and then it’s gone. I know before too long the bitter cold of winter will darken my door so this year I plan to savor every moment of fall that I can.

To celebrate I want to introduce you to a few of my favorite characters, and they are right at home in the dark of night. Azrael, is and will always be near and dear to my heart. The big lug, is a quiet, stoic male who is too sexy for his own good. As a Soul Runner, he acts a deliverer of departed souls to their final resting place.

His book, Azrael’s Light, is full of quirky characters, dark otherworldiness and smexy times. It’s perfect read for a cool, dreary, Halloween night.

He stepped in once more and took a lock of her hair in his hand. Briefly he rubbed it between his fingers as if savoring the texture and then tucked it behind her ear, grazing the outer shell with a lingering sweep as he pulled his hand away.

“You really are a stubborn little thing, aren’t you? Beware, sweetness. That fight only makes you all the more tempting to someone like me. When your resistance finally falls, the victory is so much sweeter.”

His eyes pinning her in place and his voice compelling her to follow his lead became a lethal one-two punch, disarming her. Any intelligence and self-control she had flew right out the window. He was an incubus, luring her in with seductive words and dark promises. Her knees redoubled their efforts to stay upright.

She didn’t have time for this, and no way, no how could she make sexy eyes with a Soul Runner. What was she thinking? Every sane thought she had evaporated, and that was the problem.

She couldn’t let him get under her skin or her clothes.

For the latest on releases…A Craving For Two has a release date of October 28th at Bookstrand! Soon, I should have cover art, excerpts, links and all that fun stuff to share. A Craving For Two is the second book in the Crave series. You’ll see characters from Lacey Temptations but the story can be read as a stand alone. Though, it’s that much sweeter to read them in order. 🙂 I can’t wait to introduce you to these sisters!

In other news…I’ll be attending the Midwestern Book Lover’s Convention September 26-28. There are still a few tickets left for full weekend registration, Saturday only and signing only tickets. If you’ll be in the area stop by. It’s bound to be a blast!

I don’t even know where to begin…

I guess I’ll start with the good. I’ve finished the rough draft of the second book in my series centered around Crave and am halfway through the polish. Next I’ll be sending it to my beta readers and they rock, so I’m hoping to be able to hit the magic send button and submit it by the week’s end.

That being said, I am trying to get everything together to get my two kids off to school. With two weeks and counting, the sand is slipping through the hour glass at an obscene speed. My oldest is going off to his first year of college so we’ve got to get ready for “move in day.” I’m equal parts excited and heartbroken to see him go but I know if he applies himself, he’ll kick ass. My youngest is headed off to her first year of middle school. She’s the baby! What the hell? I blinked and now it’s middle school! WTF. As you can see, I’m struggling a bit with the fact that both of my kids are growing up whether I like it or not. In this one area a mother has zero control. ZERO. It just doesn’t seem fair, we kick ass everywhere else. Why can’t we have some sort of trade-off?

My husband is scheduled for oral surgery in a few days so I’ve had to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate that.

*sigh* and the list goes on…

But. I finished a book and that always gives me an emotional high and that’s a much needed thing right now. So…yay for books! lol. But isn’t that what it always boils down to? The solace, pleasure, happiness and all the others feels one can think of can be found in the pages written by others.

Thank goodness. We’d be lost without them.

I’m nearing the end of my rough draft for the second book in my series about Crave so the store has been on my mind quite a bit lately.
Crave has been a labor of love for the owner, Tara. She’s a believer that the things that we enjoy or make us feel beautiful shouldn’t be hidden away in the dark. She’s incorporated those things into one store-Crave. One third is filled with lingerie for all sizes, another section houses adult toys and the third is home to a large selection of erotic romance.
