Hi Dianne! I’m hoping late spring or early summer. Book 3 is my sole focus now but there are a lot of things that have to occur. This story is SO very important and I have to make sure I do it right. Thanks!

Still waiting for book 3 of Dark Horse. I have reread books 1 and 2 twice already. Can’t get enough of these books. Trent and Kate are my favorite but I am so looking to read Rick and Leigh’s storey. I know it is going to be great.
Hey there! I can’t tell you how nice it is to hear that! Seriously. On busy days when I’m juggling so much and wonder if I can handle it all, comments like these mean the absolute world. I am chipping away on Rick and Leigh’s story. I’m a little over 40,000 words. I know it’s taken me quite a while but there is SO much that I want and need to get right in order to give them the story they (the characters) and my readers deserve. I have vacation coming up in just a few days and the number one priority is to get my life and book stuff back on track. Eleven days of no day(or nightshift) job! I promise to have a true update with good stuff soon! (And thanks again for your kind words!)
Waiting for book 3 of Dark Horse feels like being a kid again waiting to open Christmas presents. So much anticipation! When will it be released?
Hi Sheila! Thank you so much for the kind words. I can’t tell you what they mean to me. I am truly getting VERY close to the end of book three. I know it’s taken me what feels like forever, but I think a small part of the problem has been intimidation- by myself/of myself. Between being SO worried that I’ll mess this one up and suffering some exhaustion this past year, it’s been rough. But I literally have three or four scenes until the rough draft is DONE.(Whoop-whoop!!) I’m taking some time off from the evil day job week after next and that will help speed things up too. I’m hoping for a mid to late Feb release. Thank you so very much! *hugs*

I just finished reading all three of the Dark Horse, Inc. series in two days. I couldn’t put them down and can’t wait until the next book comes out.

Hi Jeanne! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed them. There will be at least one more full length book, probably two. James is next and there’s another character that may get drawn deeper into the mix. Beyond that? Who knows? I love the Dark Horse crew and there’s no telling what will come up.
Hi Jeanne! There will be at least one more book, but more than likely there will be more than that. I’ve started writing James Holloway’s book. I love the Dark Horse world so who knows what the future may bring?

Have absolutely loved all the dark horse books and can’t wait to read James’s story but what about Brody? He says he’s coming back and not to believe everything you hear. I need to know where he’s been. Please tell.
Hi Trudy! Truth is I don’t know exactly where he’s been or what he’s up to, but he’s always there in the corner waiting on me. I’m pretty sure he’ll get a story too. I think he totally deserves a happily ever after too!
Any idea when we’ll get to read James’s story?
Hi Sonya! Thank you for reaching out. I don’t have an exact release date yet. The past year has been full of upheaval and change for the Hawthorn house. We’re still trying to adjust but as I’ve been able I’ve been pecking away and have made some progress on James’ story. I hope to have a more concrete answer in a month or so. I know a lot of my readers are waiting for it so I don’t wan’t to make my best guess and then disappoint if 2020 throws us another curve ball. *hugs* Stay safe out there!
